POLITIK PEMBEBASAN LAHAN DAN EKSPANSI INDUSTRI PARIWISATA DI KAWASAN EKONOMI KHUSUS MANDALIKA, LOMBOK TENGAH, NUSA TENGGARA BARAT

Abstrak

The research aims to analyze the land acquisition scheme carried out by the state in the development of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone super priority tourism destination. It uses a qualitative approach with an analytical descriptive method. The research process is carried out through several stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data collection was obtained through interviews and literature studies. Meanwhile, data reduction was carried out by reviewing the data collected to be selected according to the topic of this research. Furthermore, the data presentation stage was carried out in the form of a narrative. Finally, conclusions were drawn based on the elaboration of David Harvey’s concept of accumulation by dispossession and the Weberian concept of territorialization. Based on the research results, the land acquisition scheme in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone is carried out through several forms, namely: forced acquisition, compensation, and land sale and purchase transactions. The forced acquisition scheme is carried out by relocating or moving residents affected by the master plan for the construction and development of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone. Meanwhile, the compensation scheme takes place by providing compensatory money as compensation for material losses. Finally, the land sale and purchase transaction scheme is carried out through a land sale and purchase mechanism based on a price agreement between community and the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation
