The amount of income earned is a motivation for the workforce in achieving work performance on the one hand and the number of products produced on the other. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate opportunities to increase labor absorption through the volume engineering of raw materials in the tofu agroindustry by analyzing factors that affect labor absorption. The purpose of the study is to determine the causal relationship between the volume of raw materials and labor absorption, analyze the factors that affect labor absorption, analyze the implications of changes in raw material volume, labor wages, and the use of steam boilers on changes in labor absorption, and find efforts to increase labor absorption through raw material volume engineering. The purpose of the research is achieved by applying quantitative descriptive research methods, while data collection uses observation, survey, and in-depth interview techniques as an analysis unit is the tofu agro-industry business unit in Masbagik District. The sample was selected using a saturated sampling technique of 40 tofu entrepreneur respondents spread across three villages, namely Danger, East Masbagik, and Paok Motong. The sampling unit was selected by the proportional random sampling technique. Quantitative data were analyzed using multiple regression using the Cobb-Douglass equation, while qualitative data were analyzed using narrative descriptive. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the factors that affect labor absorption are labor wages and the volume of raw materials. The opportunity for labor absorption can be increased through engineering to increase the volume of raw materials, namely every increase in the volume of raw materials by one percent per day will increase labor absorption by 0.444 percent per day, while every wage increase of one percent per day can increase labor absorption by 0.307 percent per day.
