Abstract

Digital transformation is the process of using information technology that was previously processed analogously and then made into information technology digitally. The Community Information Group (KIM) is an organization as a public service institution managed by the community and for the community. Palangiseng Village is one of the villages in soppeng district that does not have a community information group, so in this study, a community group was formed that will be the implementer or forum for community information that aims to disseminate information from the government that was previously not conveyed due to the lack of information received by the community. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection is carried out by means of interviews, observations and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it is stated that KIM is very helpful in disseminating information to the public, especially people who do not have information facilities.
